Starting a Business?

MY EXPERIENCES

My mentoring program started simply as a request from a few business owners to help them define and create effective marketing concepts for their products and services. Little did I know that mentoring businesses would become a personal passion of mine over the years. After seven years working in the trenches with numerous start up’s we have found great success in a unique mentoring style that I now call…Building a Business Military Spouse Style™.

MY EDUCATION CREDENTIALS

Bachelor of Science in Psychology – Old Dominion University
MBA in e-commerce Marketing & Solutions – University of Phoenix
Taught Online Business Courses for Coastal Carolina Community College

WHAT IS BUILDING A BUSINESS MILITARY SPOUSE STYLE?

As a military spouse I have had to build my company with limited time, resources and an ever changing environment due to deployments, contractor/employee moves, and last but not least I have had to learn to bridge traditional business principles with today’s virtual world.

I created a no BS approach to developing a global strategy with building blocks developed for success and efficiency. Just like running a household, a business requires high levels of organization; multitasking ability and a global vision formula that becomes the glue to make it all come to life.

Over the years, I’ve learned through my own “learning lessons” the vital ingredient to a start up’s success…a controlled and calibrated vision. I’ve spent years sharing my tips with other visionaries to help them learn how to isolate important steps that are vital to long-term success.

Being a visionary in business is an asset, but it is also the reason why many cannot create a tangible product or service. The vision process becomes a never ending “what if”. Great visionaries must learn to control their idea, that’s the critical difference in my experience with the “could have been” verses the ones that make it as a successful business.

There is no guarantee to what will happen because each product, service and entrepreneur is unique, but we’ve found our “straight to the point analysis” has done wonders for many that we’ve worked with. We also balance our mentoring with lifestyle coaching to ensure that the company foundation and entrepreneurs lifestyle needs are in sync with the global process.

No great empire is built overnight and we’re here to help you along the journey by sharing our “learning lessons” and developing strategies to help you succeed. Trust me I’ve been there…it took me screwing up three start up’s of my own and a strong mentoring team to learn what it took to build the business I’m so proud of owning today.

Whether you’ve been in business for years or you just have an idea…our mentoring program may be of help. There is no such thing as right or wrong in the world of the entrepreneur…so grab your notes or torn up napkins (very common that some of the best business ideas are developed on restaurant napkins, so I’m not joking) and let’s get started.

“We’re not going to build your business for you…we’ll help build it with you and make no mistake about that. We only work with entrepreneurs and project managers who are serious about doing something cool for the customers they hope to serve or the world they intend to enhance.”

"Over the past year, Roxanne Reed has not only been an amazing mentor for my business, but a very trusted friend. She is a straight shooter. She recognizes your strengths and shows you how to put them into action. Her business strategies are to the point, effective and efficient. She puts your goals, dreams and ideas into a very simple and achievable plan." - Melissa

"Being able to contact Roxanne and get an open and honest opinion about my work has really played a significant role in the early success of my company. Since meeting her in 2008 she has taken me under her wing, as she has watched and encouraged my continued growth as an entrepreneur and individual. It is imperative to have someone that is willing and able to share personal stories on the effects of business on day to day life. Creating a well-rounded CEO seems to be her greatest goal for herself and those she works with."
